Application Example:
• Internal Freewheel FN 20 is used as a backstop on the drive shaft of the running gears of a chain conveyor
• During normal operation, the drive shaft powers the system while the freewheel operates in freewheeling mode
• The freewheel functions as a backstop, preventing the running gears from rolling backward uncontrollably in the event of a fault or power failure
Mounting:
• Internal Freewheels FN are supplied without bearing support
• The customer must ensure concentric alignment of both the inner ring and outer ring
• The housing bore tolerance (D) must conform to ISO H7 or G7 standards
• The shaft tolerance must comply with ISO h6 or j6
• The outer ring must be completely enclosed within a rigid, stable housing to safely transmit the specified torques
Lubrication:
• An oil lubrication of the specified quality must be provided
