The MF-IDUCTOR provides precise, non-destructive induction heating for fitting and dismantling self-contained ferromagnetic components (e.g., screws, nuts, bearing inner rings). Heating elements include flexible, rigid, and pad inductors.
Cooling and Storage:
The MF-IDUCTOR and its inductor become hot during use and must be cooled down afterward to prevent damage. Do not store the device or inductor until they have cooled completely.
-
Cool-Down Procedure: After heating a component, the internal fan will continue to run automatically until the temperature drops below a safe internal level. You must keep the device connected to the power supply until the fan automatically stops operating.
Repair and Maintenance
-
Repair: Only the manufacturer or an authorized specialist dealer is permitted to carry out repairs. Contact your distributor if you suspect a malfunction.
-
Maintenance: The device itself is maintenance-free. Maintenance and any necessary repairs must be carried out by qualified personnel.
-
Cleaning: Clean the device using a dry cloth only. Do not use solvents, as they could damage the device or impair its function.
Decommissioning and Disposal
-
Decommissioning (Long-Term Storage): If the device will not be used regularly, disconnect it from the power supply and detach the inductor.
-
Disposal: Dispose of the device according to all applicable local regulations.
