Features:
• Basic Freewheels FGR … R are roller freewheels with ball bearings, designed to be assembled with customer-specific connecting parts
• These freewheels are especially well-suited for installation in housings with oil lubrication and seals
• Capable of handling nominal torques up to 68,000 Nm
• Available with bores up to 150 mm
Application as: Backstop, Overrunning Clutch, Indexing Freewheel
Application Example:
• Basic Freewheel FGR 25 R is used as a backstop on a reduction gear in the drive of an inclined conveyor on an assembly train
• A brake disk is mounted on the outer ring of the freewheel, in combination with a manually operated RINGSPANN brake caliper
Mounting:
• The customer’s connecting parts are centered on the ball bearing external diameter (F) and assembled via the outer ring
• The shaft tolerance must comply with ISO h6 or j6
• The pilot diameter (F) of the connecting part must conform to ISO H7 or J7
• The specified centering depth (C) must be accurately followed during assembly
