Application Example:
• Complete Freewheel FGR 45 R A3A4 is used as a backstop at the opposite end of the drive shaft of a bucket conveyor
• In case of a motor stop, the backstop ensures that the bucket conveyor is securely held, preventing the belt from moving backward and driving the motor at high speed
• The backdriving torque is supported by a lever arm with a holding pin fixed to the housing
• If the holding pin is removed, the belt shaft can be rotated freely in both directions, allowing for maintenance or adjustments
Mounting:
• The pin should allow 0.5 to 2 mm play in both axial and radial directions
• The shaft tolerance must conform to ISO h6 or j6
• For FGR … R A3A4 freewheels, the inner ring must be axially secured using the supplied retainer plate
