Application as: Backstop

Application Example:
• Complete Freewheel BA 45 SX is used as a backstop, mounted at the end of the intermediate shaft of a spur gearbox
• For high shaft speeds during normal (freewheeling) operation, the sprag lift-off type X is used

Mounting:
• The holding pin should allow 0.5 to 2 mm play in both axial and radial directions
• Removing the holding pin enables the shaft to rotate freely in both directions
• The shaft tolerance must conform to ISO h6 or j6
